Now, two years and three chart-topping singles later comes the album I GOT WHAT IT TAKES, which shipped over 20,000 units.

"Give It Up" climbed the Contemporary Hit Radio chart to (#29) in just 8 weeks, which has continued to bring Jacynthe notoriety withinher own country.

The attention the press has given Jacynthe is noteworthy, having done performances and/or guest appearances on national TV shows Dini Petty, Gabereau, Canada AM, Global Entertainment Desk, YTV, Rogers Cable
(Ontario only) and the Electric Circus as well as a full page interview in the Toronto Star and Vancouver Sun, not to mention other print media such as the music industry’s RPM (front page cover story) and The Record, and teen magazines such as Teen Tribute. To top all this success off, this year Jacynthe was nominated for a JUNO Award (Best Dance Recording) and a CMA Award (Best New Dance/R&B Artist).
